Abstract

The historical development of Islamic education was heavily influenced by various social and cultural factors that existed in the surrounding community. Islamic education during the time of the Prophet could not be separated from the social and cultural factors of society at that time. Through Muhammad SAW, Allah has given him the mandate to guide humans through education and teaching so that humans can play the role of caliph on earth, believe in Allah and carry out their obligations to worship Him. Through Muhammad SAW, Allah has given him the mandate to guide humans through education and teaching so that humans can act as caliphs on earth, believe in Allah and carry out their obligations to worship Him. The relationship between politics and education in Islam cannot be separated. The development of educational activities is heavily influenced by leaders (authorities) and they need the support of educational institutions to make their leadership successful. Educational politics is an educational strategy designed in an effort to create superior and high-quality human resources. Islamic education seeks to build a society that is in accordance with the ideals of Islamic ideology in accordance with the Koran and hadith. This is what was exemplified by the Prophet Muhammad saw. The educational pattern implemented by the Prophet Muhammad saw. in history as comparative material, a source of ideas, an overview of strategies in implementing the Islamic education process.
